CURRENT FASHION

Wearing traditional garb today, mostly because my other ‘formal clothes’ for work are so tight. Bright green at the top and a slightly darker shade for the ‘sarong’. The last time I wore this, the ‘sarong’ hadn’t been properly stitched up by the tailor and I was assailed on all sides by both my mother and grandmother. My grandmother ranted about how I was walking like a ‘stupid person’ whilst my mother went up to get a belt to hold the darned thing up because she didn’t like how I had done it up, all the while blaming me for making my sister late for school. Today I got a ‘Why isn’t the parting on your hair straight’ and ‘You don’t like to wear watches do you’. Having said all that, the label on the back of my ‘shirt’ is very itchy.
