Although moving away from home is hard for many to do, others can’t wait to do so. I wanted to go out in the world and find my own spot, which is something I also did. However, being young and just out of high school it was not clear at first just what moving involved. Not only was it a strange feeling not knowing anyone in the new area, but it was also hard to hook-up services, find an apartment, get a job and register a car. There is so much to keep in mind when starting over someplace new and the fact that nobody was there to help made it very difficult.
