My favorite music is from the 30’s 40’s and 50’s. Standards sung by the greats, like Ella Fitsgerald, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday and Jo Stafford. It’s the kind of thing you can easily sing along to. The words are simple and sung clear and true. The music makes you want to get up and dance, or sometimes sit and remember.  I enjoy modern music too, but it almost always has some element of those old greats to it.

I do not enjoy any new music that is loud, brash, or has an attitude. I can not stand it when modern singers sound like their clenching their teeth the entire time,  I don’t like harsh sounds, and I don’t like whiners.
